Welcome to Hearthline Co. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from hearthlineco.com (the “Site”). By accessing our Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.


1. Eligibility

By using this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Site and purchase products.


2. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to accurately display and describe our products. However, because our products are handcrafted, variations may occur in:

  • color
  • texture
  • labeling
  • scent strength
  • appearance

These natural variations are not considered defects.


3. Orders & Payment

All orders placed through the Site are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • suspected fraud
  • payment authorization issues
  • inventory limitations
  • pricing or listing errors

Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be completed at checkout. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.


4. Pricing & Errors

We reserve the right to correct any pricing, product description, promotional, or typographical errors at any time without prior notice.

If an order is placed with an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.


5. Shipping

Shipping timelines are estimates only. Processing time may vary based on product availability, seasonal volume, and production demand.

Once your order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery time and tracking updates are controlled by the carrier.

We are not responsible for carrier delays.


6. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer is responsible for reshipping costs.


7. Lost or Stolen Packages

Hearthline Co. is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once the shipping carrier marks the package as delivered.

If tracking shows “Delivered” but the package is missing, the customer must contact the shipping carrier to file a claim. If theft is suspected, a police report may be required.


8. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of our products (including handmade goods, candles, wax melts, soaps, and personal grooming items), we do not accept returns on opened or used products.

Returns may be approved only if:

  • the product is unused and in original packaging
  • the return request is submitted within 14 days of delivery

Refunds are issued only after the returned item is received and inspected.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by Hearthline Co.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds or returns if:

  • the product has been used, burned, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • the request is outside the 14-day return window
  • the item was marked final sale or clearance
  • the item is returned without original packaging

9. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To process a claim, we may require:

  • order number
  • photos of the item(s)
  • photos of packaging and shipping box

Approved claims may be resolved by replacement, refund, or store credit depending on product availability.


10. Product Use & Safety Disclaimer

All Hearthline Co. products must be used as directed. Customers are responsible for reading all warnings and instructions provided on packaging and product listings.

Candle Safety

Candles must be burned responsibly and never left unattended. Hearthline Co. is not liable for damages resulting from misuse, improper burning practices, or failure to follow candle safety instructions.

Personal Care & Grooming Products

Our grooming products are for external use only. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists prior to use. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.

Hearthline Co. is not responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hearthline Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

  • use or misuse of products
  • use of the Site
  • shipping delays
  • lost profits or business interruption

Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.


12. Disclaimer of Warranties

All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.


13. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including logos, product names, images, text, designs, and branding, is the property of Hearthline Co. and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.


14. Promotions & Discount Codes

Discount codes and promotions are subject to change without notice and may have restrictions, including expiration dates and one-time use limits.

Discounts cannot be retroactively applied to previous orders unless explicitly stated.


15. Privacy

Your submission of personal information through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy.


16. Third-Party Services

Our Site may use third-party platforms such as Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, and marketing services. We are not responsible for third-party outages, errors, or service interruptions.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, Hearthline Co. reserves the right to pursue resolution through the courts located in Georgia, unless otherwise required by law.

Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
